  • When I first started painting wildflowers I didn’t want to know their names, I thought their magic might be lost. These days I can name most of them, but there are still some I need to look up.

  • Are your paintings original?

    Yes. Every painting is an original artwork created by me using professional-quality oil paints on either stretched canvas or canvas panels. Unless otherwise stated, each piece is one of a kind.

    Do you paint from photographs?

    My paintings are inspired by the wildflowers I encounter around my home and on my travels around Tasmania. I use my own observations and reference photographs as part of the creative process, and depending on the work I build the composition utilising these photographs. Often my colour choices are less about what the photo is showing me and more and interpretation of how I remember them.

    What inspires your work?

    Wildflowers have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. My work celebrates the beauty of native and introduced wildflowers, inviting viewers to slow down and notice the extraordinary details often overlooked in everyday landscapes.

    Is the painting I receive the one shown in the photos?

    Yes. Unless otherwise stated, you'll receive the exact original painting shown on the website.

    Do you accept commissions?

    Yes, I occasionally accept commissions. If you have a particular flower, size or idea in mind, please contact me to discuss your project.

  • Do you ship throughout Australia?

    Yes. I use Australia Post to ship and I carefully package all artworks to ensure they arrive safely.

    Do you ship internationally?

    Please contact me for a quote for international shipping. 

    How long will my order take?

    Most orders are dispatched within a few business days. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

  • What materials do you use?

    I paint with professional-quality oil paints(Winsor & Newton) on carefully prepared supports, selected to ensure the longevity of each artwork.

    How do I care for my painting?

    Avoid hanging your artwork in direct sunlight or areas with excessive humidity. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid using cleaning products on the painted surface.

  • Can I return a painting?

    Due to the unique nature of original artwork, change-of-mind refunds may not be offered.

    If artwork arrives damaged, please get in contact within 48 hours with photos of the damage so the issue can be resolved.
