Lady Luck
2025 | oil on canvas | 56.5×92×3.5cm | stretched canvas
Clover are my favourite wildflowers—not just because I love searching for four-leaf clovers, but because they quietly remind me of the beauty in difference.
Each flower follows the same basic structure, yet no two are exactly alike. As they open and age, they shift—some curl, some stretch, their shapes evolve, their colours vary, their sizes differ. And yet, every one is beautiful in its own right.
In a world where beauty standards feel increasingly homogenised and unattainable, I look to clover flowers as a reminder: true beauty lives in variation, in individuality, in the quiet defiance of sameness.
My work reflects this belief—drawing inspiration from clover, four-leaf finds, and the essence of Lady Luck as a symbol of femininity, chance, and the natural elegance of imperfection.
* This work is signed on the front of the canvas, and the back of the canvas (see image).
